Here is a quick video of a Nokia N900 running Windows 95. It’s rolling using the Dosbox for x86 emulator. Apparently the guy who also thought this was able to get Windows 98 running but it’s just a little bit too slow. It’s kind of interesting people are now doing with mobiles that only a couple of years ago was quite impossible and probably impossible to even get a PC running Windows 95 at times if you remember it.

Leaked photographs and rumors fly around the Internet all the time and this image of the Nokia Mystic was leaked last month. As you can see it has a Palm like QWERTY keyboard and it’s now rumored that this could be actually the Nokia C6 which could be part of the new Nokia C-series range of phone that we could see released at the world mobile Congress in Barcelona later this month.

Duke Nukem was one of the first games I ever played on a PC and one of the few games I ever actually completed (no idea how long it took). Anyway, here’s a cool video below of it working on a Nokia N900 and being controlled using a Wiimote.
Next he shows how you pair up the Wiimote with the Nokia N900

It’s been developed to work on S60 fifth edition devices and unfortunately is not compatible with S60 third edition or anything greater than this. For example it will work with Nokia N97, Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia 5230, Nokia 5530, Nokia 5800, and Nokia X6.
If you have time to have a quick look at the video below as it gives a quick demonstration of how this new diagnostic application works.

Nokia have pushed out a new firmware update today for the Nokia 5730. The new firmware version v200.12.87 can be easily downloaded via NSU (Nokia software updater). It can take a little bit of time for this update be available for your product code so it is not available immediately and will become available shortly. Just make sure you check out the NSU when you have time.
Some of the changes we believe :

We just got news that new firmware is now available for the Nokia N97 mini. The new firmware which is the version v.11.0.45 has only just been released so we do not have much information on this yet.
We believe that some of the new changes in this update will add new functions and have updated applications is also hoped that it will improve response on various functions. So far there is no change log available so we are really unsure as to the changes until they are officially announced or until people start to update and we can find out exactly what changes have happened.
Keep a night out over the next couple days and we’ll update this post

Interesting news recently that Nokia may be planning to release dual sim phones in the second quarter of 2010. We have seen over the past year older mobile manufacturers (Samsung) releasing dual Sim phones into their Asian and East European markets. There has been no confirmation from Nokia that they will definitely be releasing a phone like this and most of the information that has started to appear it really just speculation.
I can definitely see a marketplace for dual Sim phones and there have been many manufacturers who are not global names releasing these homes to the market. To South Korean company Samsung already released a number of models (5) this year which are available in some countries.
I guess we just have to watch this space to see do we get any news from Nokia on this in the next few months.

The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is really a phone for music lovers. It’s basically a complete music solution as it’s more like a music phone but also comes with a camera, GPS, memory, operating system, emailing and more.
In a nutshell this is a cheap and cheerful phone from Nokia. It does however come with a two-megapixel camera, video camera and a music player which seems to be its main aim can play (MP3, MP4, AAC, eAAC+, and WMA music files).
Internal memory is small at only 30 MB however it does come with a 1 GB card included s so lots of space for storing music. You’ll also find the standard Nokia menu system, which is quite easy to navigate, compared to some other manufacturers.
Overall reviews we have read on this phone seem quite positive. If you’re looking for a gift of a music phone for Christmas this is definitely one worth considering.
WHERE CAN I GET THE BEST PRICE?
We found the best price at Vodafone![]()

Nokia have announced that a number of chargers that have been manufactured by a third-party could cause electric shock hazard and have put out a recall notice. The Chargers involves are model types AC-3U and AC-3E manufactured between June 15, 2009 and August 9, 2009, and model type AC-4U manufactured between April 13, 2009 and October 25, 2009.
According to Nokia “the plastic covers of the affected chargers could come loose and separate, exposing the charger’s internal components and potentially posing an electric shock hazard if certain internal components are touched while the charger is plugged into a live socket.”
There have been no reports of injuries related to these chargers at present and according to Reuters they think it could be about 14 million handsets sold over this period of time that have the faulty chargers.
