Synchronica Launches MessagePhones
Personally I have not come across Synchronica PLC before until today when I see that they have launched a couple of low-cost mobile devices that have messaging at the heart of their functionality.
Their two versions of this phone namely the QS150 and the QS200 and as you can see from the photograph of both the kind of look very similar to Blackberry-ish style. We all know that more and more people are now using their mobile phones for e-mail and messaging and it is definitely a growing market that’s should see year on year growth.
In terms of functionality Synchronica have a full mobile gateway solution which can also offer mobile instant messaging, push e-mail as well as synchronization services. The phones are capable of full HTML Web browsing and are also capable of accessing social networking websites. You believe that they will be available at some stage in Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and South-East Asia and starting price is around $99.
