iPhone sales reach 2 million in the UK
Interesting news has been released by O2 in the United Kingdom where they are claiming to have sold 2 million iPhone’s in 2007. According to Matthew Key, the chief executive of Telefonica Europe, and Ronan Dunne, chief executive of O2 UK the iPhone and Palm Pre helps towards achieving a good 2009 which was a particularly tough year for most mobile networks.
They have also said that they are retaining a lot more customers than its rivals and have an industry leading churn in India that the UK.
According to Vodafone they sold around 100,000 iPhone’s when it launched in January. We believe that when Orange launched a sold 200,000 iPhone’s since last November.
