Acer F1 Expected At The Start of October
The Acer F1 is expected to go on sale around October 6th 2009. Their windows mobile 6.5 Smart phone is set to come with 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.8 inch touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels, accelerometer, quad-band GSM and tri-band HSPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM.
As you may be already aware Acer are leading supplier of laptop technology and it’s nice to see them moving into the mobile phone market. The F1 is expected to be on sale in the UK for around £295 which seems quite good value for a handset with the features that have been listed above. So far we have no information as to who will be supplying the phone that would obviously be announced within the coming weeks.
We also know that Acer are working on an Android Smart Phone to release sometime this year although we have no more information as to when this will happen at present. We are sure this will be available as a pay-as-you-go phone and also on contract from various networks.
