Below we have a hit list of the top 10 mobile phone markets in Asia. As you can see from the list some of these numbers are staggering when you compare this to the size of Ireland.

- India – 346.8m
- Indonesia – 140.2m
- Japan – 105.8m
- Pakistan – 89.9m
- The Philippines – 68.1m
- Vietnam – 67.2m
- Thailand – 61.9m
- South Korea – 45.6m
- Bangladesh – 45.2m
Mobile phones are big business and I’m sure some of the big network service providers like Vodafone, Verizon wireless, T-Mobile etc. all have big sharers in some of the network providers in these countries. Just think of the amount of phones that the likes of Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola to name but a few must be selling in these countries must be phenomenal.
