Apple Apps Store Reaches One Billion Downloads
The Apple applications store is only nine months old and already has reached the one billion downloads. This is an amazing amount of applications that have been distributed.
Other interesting news for Apple is that in calm from network and other associated services has risen to $1.52 billion compared to $378m to previous year.
One interesting aspect of their financial results is that in January Apple announced that they had sold 4.4 million iPhone’s during the last quarter of 2008. This is a nice achievement for a phone that is almost 2 years old.
