The LG Viewty Smart GC900

The LG Viewty phone was a phenomenal success and now LG have released a second Viewty called the LG Viewty Smart or LG GC900. The phone has now been officially announced after some leaks over the past few weeks.

As we said already then GC900 is the successor to the original Viewty, which has sold believe it or not 6.5 million units globally.

The phone comes with an eight megapixel autofocus camera and combined with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens should give outstanding pictures. It also comes with something called intelligent shot mode which will apparently automatically analyses scenes and lighting conditions and then adjust the camera settings to help give better quality images. According to the company this mode will “completely eliminates the need to check settings before taking a photo.”

The phone will also come with a touchscreen, Bluetooth, music player, 1.5 GB internal memory and many of the features, which we have listed below. So far we have no retail price, as this was not announced by LG. The phone is expected to hit markets sometime in May on several European networks.
