PlayNow™ plus launched
Sony Ericsson have launched PlayNow™ plus which offers users the ultimate mobile music experience with the freedom to discover, download, play and recommend unlimited amounts of music wherever they are and whenever they like, directly over the mobile data network.
Sound’s good but how much will it cost?
They plan to launch this on the Telenor network in Sweden later this year with a roll-out to other countries and networks in 2009.
For the launch they are also launching a special edition Sony Ericsson W902 Walkman™ phone that will come preloaded with 1000 songs (hopefully not all Swedish folk songs), I should read the press release it will have 1000 of the recent most popular digital songs (now that’s better).
I’m sure we’ll hear more about this service in the coming months.
