Posted on May 27, 2008 by ColmNo Comments

china.jpgI hope the networks in Ireland are taken note here, last month there were 583.51 million subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of April 2008, growing by 1.54% on month and by 19.71% on year.

Thats about 41% of the population, last month (April 2008) they send 54.14 billion SMS messages which if you don’t want to reach for your calculator is an average of 3.12 SMS messages per phone each day.

Crazy stuff when you think about it

Vista on your S60 Nokia

Posted on May 20, 2008 by ColmNo Comments

realvista-s60.jpgAre you looking for a new interface for your Nokia S60 phone, well then you might want to checkout RealVista Desktop Mobile. It’s kinda looks like Microsoft’s Vista OS, the application is free and you simply install Flash Lite 2.1.

The applications and phone functions are separated into categories, with each page displaying four icons, meaning it may take a little longer to navigate around your phone

Please note before you upgrade to this the developer is aware of some Nokia N95 and N81 devices that can’t manage to run all apps via these icons, but reckons this is a firmware issue that should be fixable via an upgrade.

Just check their site for more information here
