Sony Ericsson today announced the launch of the new Z770
Sony Ericsson are busy today with new phone announcements and here we have another one the Sony Ericsson Z770. The clamshell mobile is optimised for the web and benefiting from HSDPA data speeds.
It offers easy email set-up which includes push email, comes with high speed browsing (HSDPA) as I’ve said already and Google Maps for Mobile should you get lost. IF you have USB on your Laptop/PC (which most have now) you can even use the phone as a modem by simply connecting the phone.
It comes with a 2.2-inch screen, RSS reader, A2DP Bluetooth, media player, 2 megapixel camera and 8.5 hours of talk time. And with Exchange ActiveSync, you can even configure your phone to have work emails pushed straight to your phone.
All sounds great so far, it will be available in Vogue Red, Graphite Black and Exquisite Gold in selected markets from Q2 2008.
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Just announced
Sony Ericsson are getting into the windows mobile smartphone with their new XPERIA series. The XPERIA X1 comes with a 3-inch clear wide VGA display and a full QWERTY keyboard. It’s an ‘arc’ slider phone, which is essentially a curved, ergonomic handset with slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
It includes touch and optical joystick navigation, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and photo light, A2DP Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, aGPS and 400MB of storage (extended via microSD card).
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will be available in selected markets from the second half of 2008.
