The Nokia N82 is a 5 megapixel but that’s all we know about this phone so far, the phone is due to be released in the morning so spec at the moment is just a rumour – quad-band GSM, 2100MHz HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, FM Tuner, Bluetooth, 3.5-mm headphone jack, Carl Zeiss lens with Xenon flash, automatic rotating 2.4-inch QVGA display, and microSD expansion.
Hope to have more information on this in the morning.
Om Malik got his hands on a Nokia N81 and here’s what he thinks
“The device behaved like a 3-year-old throwing a tantrum. Unless this is an especially buggy device, N81 has to be one of the worst Nokia phones I have ever used and would be loathe to recommend it to anyone. It is underpowered and the Symbian S60 OS behaves like Windows ME. Remember that piece of junk? Well this is worse. It takes more than 10 seconds to open a text message. Switching between applications is akin to me running – out of breath. One has to constantly reboot the phone to even make phone calls”
I guess we’ll simple have to wait to hear what others say before we pass judgement.
So T-Mobile hired some tanned staff to sell the oul iPhone to the good people of Cologne. As the first day nears an end it would be interesting to know how many unit Apple sold between the UK and Germany.
I guess with the busy shopping weekend ahead the number could be massive I’m sure we’ll get some ideas early next week.
Not long now until the iPhone hit the UK, we have nothing new to report really, but I seen the ads on UTV last night during the Liverpool match.
So here’s the deal if you live in the UK and maybe something for us to be aware of if we ever get this in Ireland.

Here’s the new Sony Ericsson w380, as you can see it’s a clamshell design. One really nice feature that I like on Sony Ericsson phones is the TrackID functionality which allow you to to tag a clip from the phone’s radio (or any external source) and find out instantly who sings it.

So Google finally announced the Google Phone, but with a little twist I might add instead of a phone that’s manufactured by just one company, it’s an open software platform that’s going to be loaded on phones made by HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung.

One of the things I noticed when looking at the T3 video of the iPhone in the UK is the firmware version. We’ve already seen version 1.1.1 in the US, but they seem to be launching with version 1.1.2 in the UK.
My guess on this is they need to support a number of different things like keyboard, characters and maybe trying to counter act some of the third party applications they do not want installed.
The Samsung u900 was first seen back in August but I’ve not heard much since we still have no word on a release date, but it looks like a really nice phone.
