Nokia buying NAVTEQ
Good new (hopefully) if you’ve ever used GRPS on a mobile in Ireland and then had to pay the price later. Nokia maybe on the brink of buying NAVTEQ.
NAVTEQ are one of the world’s two digital mapping powerhouses and the deal could cost Nokia a nice $8 billion – Which is about $8 billion more then I have.
Anyway this would be great news if it happens, it’s expected that NAVTEQ could be under the Nokia flay by Q1 2008.
