Samsung SCH-W300 and SPH-W3000 UFO Phones

samsung sch-w300.jpgCouple of new phones from Samsung the SCH-W300 and SPH-W3000, again these are ultra thin slier phones and support HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps. The Name UFO has something to do with the speed but can not figure out what.

With a 2 mega pixel camera, the phone is only 12.9mm think (or should that be thin).

Samsung G600 Pictures

The Samsung G600 offers a 5 mega pixel camera and I guess is their challenge toward the Nokia N95 and the Sony Ericsson K850. Samsung are really rolling out so many phones at the moment it’s hard to keep up, we wont see all these in Ireland but I think there mobile phone brand is getting stronger not just here but across the World.

Wind-Powered Mobile Phone Charger

mobile_wind_charger.jpgOrange in the U.K. has announced plans to launch The Orange Mobile Wind Charger, the device has been developed at the University of Texas.

As you can see from the picture it looks like a cool little device, the charger was designed for use in outdoor settings and is I guess getting on the environmentally-friendly bandwagon.

The smaller the blades on a turbine the longer it takes to generate power, so the Orange Mobile Wind Charger may not be as effective as a traditional power unit; however, it’ll do the trick when there aren’t any electrical outlets to plug into.

No official release date or pricing details have been set.
