A group called iPhonesimfree are claiming to have created the first and only full software hack for the iPhone.
So no need to take out the soldering iron to solder bit inside your iPhone to get it simfree, now these guys plan selling the service soon to unlock phones but we’ll have to wait and see if it’s real.
According to the site, the key benefits are:
* Chose the provider you want, use any SIM card from any network provider in any country
* No more outrageous roaming charges. When traveling simply pick the local provider of your choice and change your SIM card.
* Poor network coverage no longer an issue, use the network provider best suited to your region
* Save money! A favourable exchange rate makes for excellent value for money when importing

Couple of new phones from Samsung the SCH-W300 and SPH-W3000, again these are ultra thin slier phones and support HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps. The Name UFO has something to do with the speed but can not figure out what.
With a 2 mega pixel camera, the phone is only 12.9mm think (or should that be thin).

The Samsung G600 offers a 5 mega pixel camera and I guess is their challenge toward the Nokia N95 and the Sony Ericsson K850. Samsung are really rolling out so many phones at the moment it’s hard to keep up, we wont see all these in Ireland but I think there mobile phone brand is getting stronger not just here but across the World.
