Sony Ericsson S500 review

The Sony Ericsson S500 is a quad-band GSM/EDGE phone that derived largely from the W580, it had a built-in 2 megapixel camera and all the usual stuff (Photos, music, and video clips) can be stored on the internal 12MB of memory.

We expect to see this sometime around Q2 this year no pricing has been provided yet.

LG Shine in Titanium Black

lg-shine-titanium-1.jpglg-shine-titanium-2.jpg

Following the phenomenal success LG has unveiled a titanium black version of the Shine handset. Following successful sales performance the full metal bodied jacket phone has received a makeover, turning it a dark and sophisticated metallic grey.

Access to LG Shine’s menu system is by an easy-to-use multi-function scroll wheel and on board software includes a comprehensive music player (with MP3 WAV and AAC++), GPRS and EDGE network compatibility and Bluetooth.

To start with the handset will be launched in the UK, France, Netherlands and Austria, maybe in Ireland before the end of the year.

Sony Ericsson S500 video review

A Video review of the Sony Ericsson S500, this is a really good review and also shows the phone in all it’s glory with the lights off, but also shows you the menus.

Sony Ericsson to release W660 “PINK” edition

W660.jpgW660-2.jpg

Sony Ericsson have recruited female artist PINK to promote the latest stylish Walkman phone. the Sony Ericsson w660. This special PINK edition is basically a red rose version of the W660 with a special I “SE logo” PINK on the back as you can see in the picture above.

This is the first time Sony Ericsson have use an I on their phones and my guess is they are aiming to attract more young buyers.

Samsung SGH-F300 Photo

The Samsung Ultra Music F300 is a dual-faced phone, now what do I mean by that! well On one side is a large, clear screen with a sweep touch key that makes music control simple. When you turn the phone over to the other side it’s a normal phone. This is a unique and novel idea from Samsung that I’m sure adds usability to the phone.

iPhone Rumour : O2 wins UK contract?

iphone2.jpgI’ve been keeping away for iPhone news for a while as there’s so much information on the web about it. But, as you can guess from the title it’s rumoured that O2 have won the contract to sell this in the UK.

The Times and The Guardian as well as online - are reporting that UK carrier O2 will be exclusively selling Apple’s already-iconic phone in time for Christmas.

It would be nice if it’s hits the Irish market at the same time, it’s expect the phone will cost £300 in the UK and a 12-18 month contract.

I guess well just have to wait and see what happens in the next few months
