The iPhone Commercial During the Oscars.
3G iPhone Next Year Maybe !!
As with all new devices alot of people will wait for version 2 of the product just to make sure all the bugs/problems are gone. The same can be said for the iPhone as rumour has it that in early 2008 Apple will release a 3G version of the phone on this side of the pond.
Apple hasn’t been especially shy in beating the drums for its long-term 3G plans, as Apple chief executive Steve Jobs himself mentioned 3G in his Macworld keynote and later had his story backed by Cingular (now AT&T) distribution chief Glenn Lurie.
Apple’s choice of cellphone networks in Ireland is still undecided as far as we know but it will be interesting to see what happens in the next few months.

Apple and Cisco are Friends again
Finally the iPhone will be called iPhone as Cisco and Apple announced they have resolved their bitter dispute involving the “iPhone” trademark name.
After more than a month of public sparring, the companies recently agreed to several legal extensions, following the Cisco lawsuit over the iPhone trademark (in the US as well as in the UK).
Under the agreement, both companies are free to use the “iPhone” trademark on their products throughout the world, according to the release.
Both companies acknowledge the trademark ownership rights that have been granted, and each side will dismiss any pending actions regarding the trademark.
In addition, Cisco and Apple will explore opportunities for interoperability in the areas of security, and consumer and enterprise communications.
Both companies, however, said that other terms of the agreement are confidential.
Nokia 7373 Special Edition
After the L’Amour Collection from Nokia they are now set to release the Nokia 7373 Special Edition during Paris Fashion Week, Nokia has joined creative forces with talented fashion designer Giambattista Valli to craft the Nokia 7373 Special Edition.
“I was intrigued by the inspiration to define the mobile phone as a fashion accessory,” explains Giambattista Valli. “Like a dress, shoes and jewelry, the Nokia 7373 Special Edition phones follow the theme of my collection and I immediately imagined them as silhouettes dressed in my work. Depending on your mood, you swap bags and transfer the contents. Amazing to see how Nokia has applied this idea to the world of mobility. Just swap SIM cards from one mobile phone to another to match your personal style.”
As for spec of the phone I’ve no idea, anyway who cares this is a fashion phone to match you shoes or handbag or whatever

Nokia N95 - Technology at It’s Best
You wont find the Nokia N95 for sale yet (as I write) si I’ve decided to simply find lots of video so at least we can look at it and maybe get some idea how the thing works. If your looking the But a Nokia N95 or looking for a price you’ll have to wait until March or April.
Anyway on with the video reviews, first up is from Gizmodo and they seem to love this handset for its sleek ergonomics, its slide out design and its ability to view in both portrait and landscape mode. But looking at the video the video the menu just seems to be a little sluggish.
Now lets look at the Phone Arena Review. They seem impressed by the phones compact size, its overall functionality.
The Girls over at Shiny Shiny have a short review of the N95. They also couldn’t resist the handsets multimedia functionality and loved the two-slider phone.
Nokia N95 Video
This is a really good review of the Nokia N95, this will really be an exciting phone and due for release next month ( I think) with GPS, WiFi, 3G, high-quality music lots to look forward to.

So you cant get enough of MySpace? we’ll soon you’ll be able to access myspace on you phones - well, if your on Vodafone that is. Vodafone and MySpace have signed an exclusive deal to bring the social website to the small screen.
The deal will go live in the UK first, the two companies say, before a rollout into other European countries - the due date is the “first half” of 2007.
LG Prada v2
Ok so we haven’t even see the LG Prada in Ireland yet but according to engadgetmobile.com LG are working on version 2 of the Prade which will include T-DMB mobile TV.
The new version expected to hit in April will sport terrestrial DMB mobile television. Makes sense, since our friends on the Korean Peninsula loves ‘em some mobile TV tech something fierce.
