The Nokia 6290 clamshell
You may have noticed that Nokia dont make a lot of flip phones and have just announced the Nokia 6290, its latest 3G cell phone based on the S60 3rd Edition (Symbian) platform.
Features of the Nokia 6290 include:
* S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1
* 2.2″ QVGA display with 16m colors (external screen is 128×160)
* 2-megapixel camera
* MP3 player with stereo speakers
* Quad-band GSM + EDGE + UMTS 2100
* MicroSD card slot
* Bluetooth
* talktime of 3.5 hours and standby of 10 days
Nokia will start shipping in Q1 2007 for an estimated price of €325 and will be available in multiple color configurations.
