The New Motorola MOTOFONE

Motorola have announced another new phone this week, the MOTOFONE. The candy bar styled phone is the thinnest in Motorola’s lineup at approximately 9mm (.35″) thick, and is said to be part of the SCPL (“scalpel”) platform. Motorola hopes the GSM capable MOTOFONE F3 will be a cost effective, introductory phone for new users but still provide a handset that makes a statement with style and design.

* 16.5 days of standby time
* 7 hours of talk time
* Speakerphone

The phone is expected to be available in Q4 2006. No pricing information has been provided at this time.
